Why Going Outside Improves Your Mental And Physical Health

Recent neurological studies have suggested that you produce stronger ALPHA WAVES when you are outside. These waves indicate a level of calmness, yet alert states in the brain, when you are outside, in a similar manner as meditating!  In essence, you are getting away from it all, and you are getting away from WHO you are too!

The Japanese have created a trend in "Forest Bathing" where you venture into the forest to provide a stimulus to all of your senses; the visual color-scape of your surroundings, the sounds of water as it cascades over rocks in a stream, the smell of a pine forest or cedar grove, and the feel of a breeze on your face all combine to create, according to OUTSIDE, a measureable decrease in your stress level, blood pressure, and heart rate during a leisurely walk, when compared one in an urban environment.

It may seem incongruous that there would be such a difference between outside and inside - with the only real difference being the walls that bind you to your inside existence. But that might not be such a small factor. With the seemingly endless boundaries that our Creator has provided for us, our outdoor world can feel like it stretches endlessly; and our physical and mental walls become a little less imposing.

A good real estate agent will sell your house, or find you one to buy, but a great REALTOR® will take the time to understand your needs, and will work hard to find you a home in a location that will be conducive in creating an environment that will allow you to grow, explore and develop beyond the walls of your residence.
